Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes . Because I use a HAI contract I have HAI construction insurance I also have public liability insurance. Dealing with the QBCC I also have 6 year structural insurance

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

When I was at school I was very good at technical drawing and wood work so I was keen to pursue a career in the building industry. I also enjoyed being in the outdoors.

My best custom stories are that my customers always are happy to refer me to another customer. I am a small company with a personal touch and I think people like and respect this.

I enjoy dealing with people when they are starting the biggest investment that they will probably ever make. I like to try and guide them in the right direction and use my experience to help them.

I allow between 16 and 24 weeks depending on the size 3 Are there engineer certificates provided on completion. Yes there is and certificate for frames, trusses, windows, water proofing, shower screens, termite protection

I have many years of experience and not only that you get to deal with me when you build your new home. This alone is a huge advantage in the whole process I think.

I need to have an idea of the clients budget and the style of home they want to construct. It would also be of assistance for them to know at what level of inclusions they want

I would recommend that people have some realistic idea of the budget that they can afford and an idea of the type of dwelling they want to buy. If they own there land they could arrange a soil test also.

My pricing is very competitive because I am a small business that has very low over heads. I also have quite buying power because I am a low risk company with years of experience.

All my jobs are done on a contract basis using a HAI contract that gives the client a peace of mind.When you sign a HAI contract you have them as a back up and also the QBCC as back up as well

I have been around the building industry so long that I have a very broad knowledge of all the trades needed to complete a building project on time and to a very high standard

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I did my trade in Toowoomba as a joiner / carpenter  and went into kitchen installations working for a company. I then spent some years with a builder in Toowoomba to further my trade.
