Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

As a fully qualified Electrical Contractor, it is mandatory to be fully insured and guarantee electrical work.  we prefer to use quality products from reputable suppliers, that way if their is a manufactured fault, if will be replaced. If we supply any product that is faulty we will replace it.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I graduated high school and decided get into a trade. I enjoyed maths and electronics at school and so found the technical sides my apprenticeship easy. Although I didn't mind working for someone else, I was seeking more of a challenge. I decided to enrol into a Bachelor of Arts at UWA in 2010, while continuing to work in the electrical industry for other electrical contractors I knew. While i preferred to work in the residential industry, running my own business awarded more flexibility. I completed a small business course and obtained my contractors license to trade as Harmony Electrical Contractors

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Accepted Answer

~Clean and on time~ Up-to-date with electrical products and standards. I am a small business with minimal overheads.  Unlike most tradesman, I ensure I dispose of rubbish ethically.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

we charge as per quote, by the hour, or ask about our day rates. we accept cash and cheques or can issue an invoice made payable within 14 days of service.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Accepted Answer

I specialise in LED lighting, switchboard upgrades and general maintenance. I can advise on suitable lighting options, and I particularly enjoy lighting up trees in the garden. I prioritise on unsafe or fault concerns with exceptional fault finding skills and knowledge of the rule book.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I am a fully qualified electrical worker with an electrical contractors license. I'm fully insured with a reputable public liability insurance. I am a member of NECA (National Electrical and Communications Association), and a registered telecommunications cabler. I have 10 years experience in the domestic and commercial industry, in which the majority of electrical changes and standards updates were covered during my 4 year apprenticeship. I am also a friendly and approachable guy.
