How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Photography has always been apart of my life. My grandfather was an engineer and photographer and my uncle was an artist and photographer. I started winning awards in photography in high school. I loved that it was a technical and artistic trade

What do you like most about your job?

Everything. I love working with people and creative challenges. I love how I can make people look their best and create a "feel" in my images. I love problem solving and how a shoot can have a life of its own. I love how technology, light, and art can all come together.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

They should ask if the photographers style is right for them. A client should ask if the photographer is able to deliver the images when and how they need them.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Why does it cost so much when I only need you there for an hour? There is a lot of prep work that goes into every shoot. There are travel fees, editing, post production, delivery, insurances, equipment, and admin fees to be considered.  You are paying for a professional service.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I am always early and over prepare for every job. I like a shoot to be as relaxed and run as smoothly as possible. I will make it clear to the client what is expected before, during, and after the shoot and how we can work together to create the best images for their needs.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Generally, I will need to know the time frame of the shoot, location, number of images needed, usage, how and when the client would like the images delivered or printed, the look and feel of the images (examples i.e. mood board), how many people will be photographed, what the customer expects from me.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

In order for the shoot to run as scheduled the client can have their make up and hair done before the shoot. The location can be ready for the shoot. All model releases, terms and conditions, and work agreements can be signed before the shoot.

I always offer the client three pricing options so they can decided which option works before for them. The professionalism and quality of the images goes beyond what is expected.

It really depends on the clients brief or needs. Generally $250 basic headshot. Starting at $500 for family shoots. Events $200 hr
