As a registered company "Artificial Outdoor Solutions" meets all Australian standards for workmanship as well as general and public liability insurances. Grassman products are backed with a 7 year written UV warranty. Trex products have 25 year UV written warranty.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Customer need was the driving force behind our current line of work. We started off just laying artificial grass but soon found that our customers wanted other work done as well. In some cases it was just a small amount of paving or a short garden wall that no one else would come and do. We can package all the small jobs into one at a competitive rate.

"Are you a real "Pty Ltd" business or just a backyard operation. "Who manufactures the products you use and will they warrant the product even if you are no longer in business." "Are the guarantees in writing from the supplier of the products" In the case of artificial grass "Is the product "Australian made" or just "Australian assembled".

Our past jobs/customers speak for themselves. We regularly do shopping centre and trade show displays and are always seeing our customers at these places. They always come over to say hi and tell us how happy they are with the work we have done for them.

We are a real business, not a home based backyard operation, you're welcome to come and visit our showroom/display centre located at 9/212 Wangara Road Landsdale. We have the equipment and skills to complete any job we start.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We need to know the exact size of the area you want worked on, not just a rough guess. We can work from builders plans but these are always subject to a site visit for verification. On obligation free site visit is always the best way.  Though not essential, it is better if all the decision makers can be on site and available when the quote is being given. This way if there are any decisions to be made about the layout etc, all parties are there to discuss the pros and cons of all the options discussed.

Cost savings can be achieved by 1. Being ready to make a decision on the day of the quote, if we don't have to come back it saves us time and therefore money which we're happy to pass on to you. 2. Having clear access to the site. (No additional rubble or waste material on the work area)

What makes your pricing competitive?

Accepted Answer

We aim to offer a good price for good service.  We only use good quality product, not cheap knock offs. Our Artificial grass is manufactured in Australia by Grassman and of his huge range we only use the densist 180 stitch rate product for maximum longevity. The composite decking we use is by "Trex" the originators of artificial decking. We install on Galvanised steel for in some cases less than other installers charge for a pine frame.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Quotes are generally an obligation free service whether you are wanting to have a job fully installed or even if you wish to DIY. Artifical Grass is quoted per m2 based on the best use of a 3.7m wide grass sheet. Composite decking is based on a per m2 rate based on best use of 4.88m or 6.1m x 0.14m boards.

As the name suggests "AOS - Artificial Outdoor Solutions" specialises in the supply and installation of all types of Artificial surfaces for both domestic and commercial applications. We specialise in Artificial Grass and Composite Decks (being one of the few companies to only install on a Galvanised steel sub frame rather than the traditional timber base) but also do other outdoor hard surface work including Paving, Limestone block walls, Link edge etc. Our showroom has a great range of lifelike artificial plants.

We have been in the business for over 10 years. Our staff are all trained for the jobs we undertake. We are accredited Grassman installers. We have been awarded the prestigious title "Trex Platinum Pro installers"  There are only 3 in Australia.
