How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My Dad was a tiler for 50 years (retired now at 70), he was taught by his uncle who was also a tiler for 40 years at the time.  It was inevitable that i would also be a tiler.

No favourite customer in particular...  I can't count the amount of times that i would receive a call after 8pm and be asked to organise a job for the next morning... somehow, we always manage to get this done.

The start and the end. I love meeting people on site to gain an understanding of what it is that they are looking for.  Tiling is an expensive investment, any renovation is - I love knowing that we have added value to the clients property and they can rest assured knowing the job is done correctly.

Are you licensed? How many years experience do you have? What assurance can you provide me that I will be happy with the job? How many staff do you employ? Will you keep my house clean whilst working in my house?

The common question is "when can you start?" My answer usually take me about an hour to provide.  Every job has a schedule that i would provide to my clients, this is emailed to them and they would reply with what works and what does not - and then i adjust to suit.

1.Ask me if i could find a tile that you have selected at a better price - We can generally provide tiles cheaper than retail to our customers. 2.Ask me for different options i.e. tiling a bathroom to a certain height rather than all the way to the ceiling. 3.Don't be shy to ask questions beforehand

Each job is different.  Pricing is governed by the size of the job, tiles, type of tiles, access difficulty/ease, materials involved, etc. It's always best to meet on site to discuss the job, and find solutions for problems.  There are always problems, but equally as many solutions.
