  I hired Caledonia Civil to erect a back fence and place palings along the full fence, to build a retaining wall and decking stairs at the front of my newly built home. The workmanship of this business is disgraceful. The timber on the bottom of my fence and side gates are all different levels. My retaining wall has a very noticeable bow in the middle and my decking stairs have many defects including 2 screws in holes, timber sticking out of the side, screws that go straight through the decking, very noticeable gaps between the decking, front of the decking is lose with screws not screwed in correctly and the decking is 2 panels to height for anyone to stepon to enter my home. When I contacted this business to rectify the decking stairs I was told it would cost me. I would not recommend this business to anyone. This business has now put up a false statement. This business charged me twice to install palings on my back fence and owes me $500. The owner would not work with me to fix the decking stairs unless I paid for his stuff up. He then throw my garage remote at my home smashing it into pieces. If you are thinking of hiring this business please contact me and I can provide you with photos to demonstrate the poor workmanship of this business.

  My business operates in a customer friendly manner, as reflected in previous reviews. The quality of my conduct, workmanship and customer relations have been acknowledged from past projects as shown currently in the reviews on my profile. At this time, this customer has decided not to pay the remaining balance of the bill even after the job is 100% completed to the original quote agreed upon in the beginning and since has written this review to claim there are faults with my work to deflect the matter of not wanting or not being able to pay the outstanding bill, instead of discussing this matter with me so that I can assist in resolving it efficiently.
