Frequently Asked Questions
What do you like most about your job?
My greatest pleasure in producing a wedding video is at handover, when the couple sees everything they missed on the day for the first time. It's especially good for me if there are tears and hugs.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
My favourite clients were a young couple that when I first received their inquiry I was convinced they were just another videographer scoping out my work because of their unique names. It ended up being the perfect 'princess wedding' in a tiny church full of happy people.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
After working on all facets of several short films the team started to dabble in producing weddings and discovered it's an amazing pleasure to share in a families special day and the huge satisfaction in delivering more than is expected had this facet of the business grow beyond our film production efforts.
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
Choosing a videographer to share in your day should be about finding someone that you relate well too and will not take over your day. I'm not the right person for everyone but if you're looking for someone that people will not notice that will capture everything that happens with minimal fuss and will let you be you please consider us.
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
With over 12 years experience specifically filming and producing wedding videos after several years producing short movies and commercial productions the team at Chapel Studios knows weddings and production inside out and you can trust us to look after your most precious memories.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
Videos and photography are the focus of Chapel Studios. Having started in just videos, the team was expanded with the inclusion of Robert Fantin, a super keen photography enthusiast specialising in portrait and group photography, to allow clients to opt for a one stop shop for their image needs.
How do you normally charge for your service?
From a video perspective there are generally 2 main options as starting points - whether the client wants a fully edited record of their wedding or whether they just want the raw footage to tinker with themselves. From there we tailor to the specific requirements of the couples.
What makes your pricing competitive?
One gets what one pays for - we provide expertise, assuredness that the wedding day will be captured with minimal fuss with the best equipment and with our longevity in the industry the comfort of being able to see many years of our work to see if it fits your needs and wants.
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
Anyone quoting OneFlare as their source in finding us can request 3 additional copies of their finalised wedding DVD on top of any inclusions in the package they choose free of charge.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
Don't be sold by a salesperson - see examples and find what you want. Anyone saying they can only offer a deal for a limited time is trying to close the deal, not offer you something special. Never be shy to make a counter offer, as long as you don't go too silly.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
Wedding date, all locations for the day, and whether they are interested in the fully edited or the raw footage options is an excellent starting point to get a quote to the client.
