Leticia hired Common AccountsVerifiedJul 9, 2018Job Type: AccountantLocation: Burleigh Waters, QLDJob Description: We are a not for profit and have received some government funding that went for of our last financial year, but the funding was not rolled over. Our financial year goes from 1st Jan to 31st December and our income from the funding for that year was $36,102. This makes us fall into level 2 Association which does not require us to get a full audit. An auditor would charge a great deal, and since we don't have much income at all we would like to ask you for a statement as outline below. For a low income charity, we just need an accountant to provide a statement expressing we have a bookkeeping system "I have sighted the association's financial records and the financial records show that the association has book keeping processes in place to adequately record the association's income and expenditure and dealings with its assets and liabilities." and we were wondering how much you would charge us to provide that statement? We can give you access to our accounting system in XERO so you can see we have kept very good records. The information is below and there is a link to the government page where our requirements as an association is outlined . Looking forward to hearing from you and please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further information. Level 2 associations You must appoint a suitable person to verify your financial statements. This must be: a certified accountant a qualified auditor an approved person The verifier must view your financial statements. If they are satisfied, they will provide a written statement: I have sighted the association's financial records and the financial records show that the association has book keeping processes in place to adequately record the association's income and expenditure and dealings with its assets and liabilities.Leticia's review
