Dont put off asking for help, thinking the problem will resolve itself. Most times it doesn't

Fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity
All work and parts guaranteed. Length of guarantee is defendant on the issue and work done. Full warranty on all new parts
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
I don't employ young geeks who will quickly do the job and give no follow up or resolve problems. I speak your language not technospeak so you can understand the problem and what you need to do to prevent it happening again
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
The exact error message that you have seen on the computer or as much detail as possible of the problem. This helps me quickly identify the problem and lets me quote accurately.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
Can you save my pictures and music? On most occasions I can recover all of your pictures, music and documents even if the computer wont run anymore. Usually before I do any serious work on your computer I will back up the whole hard drive to make sure that you dont lose a thing.
What do you like most about your job?
Meeting nice perople and helping them get their computer going again. I like the challenge of a problem I havent seen before. Any tech will tell you, youre always learning!

How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I love the challenge of computer repairs. There's always an issue that you haven't seen before so your'e always learning. Also like to meet people and love the sense of satisfaction when you've dome a good job and the customer is happy
How do you normally charge for your service?
By the hour. At September 2013 the residental rate stands at $75 for the first hour and charged on the half hour thereafter
