Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are fully insured and guarantee all of our moves.  Our trucks are transit insured, which mean any items on the truck are covered,as well as loading and unloading damages.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

After completing trade certs in different areas, I decided to take up my father inlaws passion for transport, it sort of took on from there, with his twenty something years experienceI couldn't ask for a better teacher.

One job that really stands out in my mind is one which a lovely family from Gatton over-paid one of our movers by $30, he returned the monies after 20 min on the highway back to the depot.  The woman could not believe not only the honesty, but the lengths he went to to return the money.  Need less to say she is now a loyal 'Direct Mober' regular!!

I absolutely love the interaction with people and taking the stress out of moving with a sense of humour and down to earth nature.  The most satisfying point is delivery and knowing you have made their day with an uneventful move.

Customer should always ask for appropriate insurance, Abn disclosure and ask for any hidden costs, and always ask for a confirmation email to refer back to if any disputes arise.

Most common Q is are you insured.  And second is hw long will the move take?  the first Q is easily answered, YES.  And the second can be easily and approximated upon booking discussions.

we are a family run business, and pride ourselves on repeat custom.  So when Direct move your precious belongings we treat each and every item as though it where ours. 1St we need to establish pick up and delivery suburbs.  2ND we confirm size of job, if interstate, or if packing is required we will supply a fixed rate not an hourly rate.  3RD  Obtain access points at both properties.

The best way for customers to save money is to firstly... Book with Direct Movers, you instantley can save up to $50 off your total bill (depending on your final spend).  secondley, be organised.  Take down beds (if possible), have as much packed and ready to go on our truck's as possible.  And thirdly, ask for a fixed price, this will give you an instant discouont ff any call-out or travel costs, as we work out the bare minimum for your entire move!

Our speed and safety of work, and the lowest rate in town.  we charge minimal call-out/ travel fees, believing that customers should only pay whilst we are working for them (Fair go policy applies to alll travel distances).

Pay by cash, cheque or EFT by direct deposit.  We aim to make payment as easy as can be for customers offering different methods which can be discussed upon booking.

Our movers are either qualified in labour trades in the past making them fit and ready for even the most challenging moves, and are qualified off-siders with a minimum of two years experience required to be considered for hiring.
