DJ Paine is a boutique photography business specialising in creating and supplying YOU with the beautiful images you have always dreamt of. Our photographer is DJ Paine. He has been shooting professionally for nearly 20 years and he's fond of describing his incredible career as “an interesting journey”…. The journey began back when DJ grew up on the popular beach side city of the Gold Coast, fascinated with light; the morning light he saw on the Broadwater while swimming with his father, the night time neon lights of the tourist traps like the Pink Poodle in Surfers Paradise and the twilight glow through the leaves as he walked through the creek beds at Binna Burra and Natural Arch…. His photography work has taken him all over the world: Highlights include some of the most amazing bands at huge music festivals in the USA, simple beach weddings on the Great Ocean Road of Victoria, remote jungle villages in the highlands of the Philippines, huge affairs on The Rocks around Sydney Harbour, Amish counties in Pennsylvania USA, album shoots for musicians of almost every genre, chic urban cafe’s & clubs of Brisbane’s west end and the lush green hills around Christchurch in New Zealand… He is a respected master of creative lighting, a consummate icon of the Australian photographic community and a member of the AIPP. He is also a passionate and patient child photographer, having photographed literally thousands of children in his career.
