How often do I need to paint? Time frames for repainting are depend on the environment, initial preparation, quality of paint used and general wear and tear. Some areas like stairs have a lot of traffic. In general for exterior surfaces repainting should between 5-7 years.

A written quote will be provided once we visit the job site. We make an assessment by checking: the surfaces & textures the height of the ceiling The number of doors and number walls to be painted It would also be good to known the shade or colour requested and how many colours are required. Does the architraves need painting? Are you having a feature wall?

3 tips to save money: (1) Remove painting, mirrors from the wall  (2) Remove blinds and curtains before we start the project  (3) Place items in the middle of the room if possible this will help when we are painting the walls.

Eddie Art Design Solution provide a written quote that it normally emailed or mailed to you after we visit the project site. We require a despite before starting work.   There are many factors to consider when preparing a quote such as: * what surface preparation is involved? * number of colours selected * painting techniques  * are special effects requested such as sponged or crakle  * ceiling height * do the architraves and ceiling trim need painting? * how many doors / walls ceiling need painting? * material and paint required  * size of area to be painted

We specialise in residential and commercial painting and decorating for interior and exterior projects.  For residential work we specialise in refurbishment of old homes. Traditional colour schemes are important to an old house. A house comes to life when you use the colour scheme for its period. For finishing coats of dark colours or full gloss we offer level 5 workmanship for any area this is required.

With 30 years’ experience, our lead painter Eddie is an extremely skilled painter. His father, who was also a painter, taught him to provide clients with the best workmanship, value for money & a professional attitude. Eddie has a painting licence.
