i like creating and talking to clients. i like being able to make a living for my family . i like working my hours start early finish early if need be work a saturday.

im a god fearing person i go to church regular. i believe in treating people the way id like to be treated. i do try to follow that.,i will have my say about a job if some one wants it done a way and i believe it to be wrong ill speak up .some times if i think it is so wrong i will back away from that job

depending on type of job.but generaly. site type access. details of size ,plans if extention or pergola ,deck ect. its good to see pictures of what they expect. date of expected start.

be organized . know what u want. do research of products. do research of what the prices should be. have drawings at hand.(just by them or drafted) even some photos of what the want timber types

well if we are talking competitive we are talking properly as well. so because i cant think of a perticular job i havent done i think i have a good chance of realy knowing how long  it will realy take to do it properly and  so i can price it right.

on a normal straight forward job i price it on quantity of materials needed. i have rates for  doors locks handles  door closers ect. then for timber thats by the metre. but for difficult jobs it can be on hourly rates.

well i have been very lucky in my working life, i have had the chance to learn many extra skills.i started with a builder to learn house building then went into a joinery and learnt cabinetmaking. but the job i like most is furniture. but i do specialize in firedoors.
