Frequently Asked Questions
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
Because I am a perfectionist. If I cannot do a job well and get it right the first time I will not attempt it. Also, if it takes a shorter time to finish a job than I quote I only charge the time taken.
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
I was trained by the Royal Australian Navy as an Artificer which means I am trained in all trades. In reality I can do any job and do it well. I am a Radio Fitter Mechanic by trade and an electrical engineer and project manager by profession. I am skilled and have the experience to tackle any job
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
No. I am a jack of all trades and master of most. I can tackle any job but will only start the ones that I know I can complete professionally.
How do you normally charge for your service?
I charge by the hour. My rate varies depending on the skill level required for the job. If it is manual labour type of job I charge less and if it is a highly skilled or dangerous job I charge more.
What makes your pricing competitive?
I know my prices per hour are much lower than industry standards. For instance it will cost you $135 an hour at a workshop mechanics but I will fix your car for $45 an hour.
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
NO I do not make special offers. My skills are valuable and my rates are very low so special offers are not my thing.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
1. Buy the materials yourself. IF I but the materials for you I do not charge more than they cost but I do charge for the time it takes me to go get them. 2. Do any site prep work yourself. Move the furniture out of the way. 2. Clean up the site. This will lower the cost
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
Each job is different and it is hard to answer this question unless the job is very simple and easy
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
MY word is my bond. I turn up on time every time and finish every job to the best of my ability every time.
