Steve turned up to provide a quote for number of medium handyman jobs . never submitted a quote and didn't seem to remember if he remembered jobs or got our work confused with other jobs. Sadly disappointed with the response

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
I hold a Trade certificate & a Qld License in Carpentry & Joinery. Completed a Carpentry apprenticeship, but also can do minor painting, tiling & plastering. Have spent 8yrs in the blinds, awning industry.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
I tend to specialise in smaller jobs, doors locks, minor renovations & building maintenance .built in robes, shelving, furniture assembly. floating floors, vanities.
How do you normally charge for your service?
If I'm able to asses over the phone can give an hourly rate ,fixed price. I may need to pay a site visit & can then give a proper quotation. Asses whether Client would be happy with various methods of payment
What makes your pricing competitive?
I believe I have the experience to give a competitive quote. I believe spending that bit of extra time with the Client I'm able to gain confidence & giving some advice if a clients unsure

I hold Public Liability Insurance which I'm able to disclose upon request.I do Guarantee my work & materials(if supplied by me)
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
I would be happy to offer you testimonials from Builders, Clients I've worked with/for. I believe you treat a client with respect as you would like to be treated.

How long will the job take (various) do you possess your own vacuum, dust covers, yes to both.Would you charge me anymore if you run over time.(taking each job in merit) NO

What do you like most about your job?
I mostly like the freedom, not in one place able to move around meet new people from all aspects of life.Can take a day out here & there no rosta no looking at the clock
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
My Grandad was a Painter & Decorator, my father was a good amateur painter & I liked helping him.I originally wanted to be an electrician,but that didn't work out so I was offered an apprentice carpenters job.
