  My partner and I regretfully write that we would NOT recommend this small business as we have lost $114 due to the coronavirus pandemic and an uncompassionate business owner. We had to cancel our booking with Holiday Heaven for Hounds as our event in Sydney was cancelled earlier this week and we have unfortunately contracted a virus (not corona) but still recommended to self-isolate. As we contacted this business by phone call to discuss a refund, we received an email bluntly stating their no refund policy upon cancellations. The business owner highlighted that our booking is still valid even though our event was cancelled however we did not feel comfortable risking the life of Bev (retired dog minder) considering we have been ill. Noting this pandemic has been completely unpredicted and out of our control, we replied pleading for some compassion and asking if any accommodations could be made (a partial refund or postponement of our booking to another time). This was four days ago… I received no reply by email, ignoring of phone calls and text messages when kindly asking for reply. I understand this is a small business that has been negatively affected by the coronavirus situation, but we just asked for some compassion and understanding noting this was completely out of our control. The lack of reply has worsened this situation and highlights the lack of professionalism from the business owner and so we will NOT be booking with them in the future. PS. The booking was made by my partner however I attended the meet and greet with the dog minder.

  We have been using Holiday Heaven 4 Hounds for a few years and the carers have been the best. They have gone the extra mile for a sick old dog and also for the young active dog we now have, Bronwyn is very friendly and keen to help find the right person to look after our dog.

  Have always been a huge animal lover, particular dogs. I was always bringing home lost dogs and wanting to keep them all!!. Starting up my own dog minding business is and always has been about the dogs. Giving them human companionship and a safe and secure home.
