I have an ongoing complaint against them at Access Canberra for wrongly accepting the advance money from me and not showing up for the work. I got to know from Access Canberra several other similar cases lodged against James Raftery the owner of Hype Pluming. Please stay away. Don't trust them for your money.Raj

Hype Plumbing have visited my house and agreed to take up the work. I paid $220 upfront for the materials which he asked for to Hype Plumbing NAB a/c 082-804/ 250120865. After receipt of the money I have to follow up to check when he is coming up for the job, which he did not turn up as he agreed to come on 29-Oct-2020 but he did NOT TURN UP till date and NOR he has refunded the money. I AM STRUGGLING TO GET MY MONEY BACK he stopped responding. I have also complaint on their portal. I have reported complaint to ACCESS Canberra for investigation and necessary action. SO PLEASE BE ALERT BEFORE YOU CONTACT THIS business AS HE IS Non Trustworthy, Non Reliable . PLEASE BE ALERT.Josh

I had hired Hype plumbing for the repair of the pump system of my rainwater collection tank and paid the sum on advance. The serives was never provided after a wait of nearly 1.5 months, they always made an excuse of being busy. They asked for job to be cancalled with advanced to be refunded soon. Now I am struggling to get the money back. It was promised to be refunded on mid-July but have not done to date (mid-October).James.K
