How much hands-on experience do they have and for how long and have a good look at their portfolio and range of work.   Also, my advice is keep it local, it may be more affordable than you think!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DEVELOP A LOGO? Allow 5-7 working days for the initial concepts to be emailed to you. There may be some adjustments depending on the clients requirements. I DO NOT USE CLIP ART, every logo is unique.  HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DEVELOP A WEBSITE? For a site around 5 pages allow 3 weeks. This allows for the initial concepts to be emailed to you (1st week) and 2 weeks development. The development can vary depending on how big the website might be ie. allow more development time for an eCommerce website.

I like to speak direct with the client (if possible) and find out exactly what they are wanting to achieve so I can provide an accurate quote.

I always supply my clients with a briefing form PRIOR to commencing any project so I can gauge feedback on things such as colours, fonts, imagery, styles and what target markets the brand will be projected to. My briefing form will guide you through the process, saving us both time and money.

I have 31 years solid experience in the industry. I ALWAYS supply my clients with a comprehensive quotation that contains ALL terms / conditions and what is (or is not included) in the quotation. I don't do 'cheap' I do QUALITY for a reasonable price – I will make your brand look professional, NOT cheap :-)

How do you normally charge for your service?

MY PAYMENT TERMS FOR WEBSITES ARE: 50% on commencement 25% progress payment after 60 days Final 25% payment payable prior to the website going live  DESIGN ITEMS (eg, logos, brochures, flyers, displays, websites): 50% deposit on commencement of the project, final outstanding 50% amount paid prior to despatch of completed artwork.

I hold a diploma in graphic art/design, a certificate in marketing and various other certificates from many courses completed over 31 years as well as hands on experience.
