Yes I am fully insured. Being fully insured is a requirement of maintaining my NSW Building Licence (Licence 273780C). I am fully licenced for Residential Construction.

Ask them how they intend to do the job. Building is common sense. The method your builder suggests should make sense to you. You should also check that he/she has the appropriate licences and insurances.

Make a list of every repair job you need done. Prioritise that list. Then call the Builder/Handyman to discuss the work.

What makes your pricing competitive?

The rates I currently charge today are the same as what I was charging 10 years ago. My rates will rise at some point soon, however, I would rather have work all year around rather than cutting rates during quiet time and inflate them during busy times.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I usually charge an hourly rate. I tend to give an estimate of what I envisage the overall job will cost and this is pretty accurate 70-80% of the time. I then only charge for the materials and the actual time I work.

Very experience in identifying and rectifying building problems. Problem solving skills and lateral thinking with a sound knowledge of most construction techniques.
