Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are insured for public liability , workers comp and damage to property. We will guarantee our work to the same the adhesive manufacturers do. Normally 5 to 7 years. Depends on quality of adhesives being used.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I started tiling at 19 years old. Was given an opportunity and found I was really good at it. My experience has just grown from there.

A customer in a large up market house had to sack there installer for dodgy workmanship. We went if and fixed it all honed all the floors to make flat and the proceeded to finish house to a quality level it deserved.  The clients were extremely happy and have worked on other projects for them since.

The enjoyment and satisfaction of creating new and different spaces, that people can look at and admire. We deal with designers who like to think outside of the box and that challenge drives me.

What's better porcelain or stone. Well its a hard choice but stone is a lifetime choice. It will last and can always be re honed to new again and be repaired. Porcelain is harder and has less maintenance but cant be repaired if damaged or resurfaced and will need to be ripped out down the track.

Normally the information we need to quote is a plan of areas to be tiled. Walls and floors. The size and type of the tiles. Weather you have mitred corners, polished edge ,angle ect. If job is on concrete or others. Single or double stories.

Costumers can save money long term by choosing the correct tile or stone for the area being used in. Choosing sizes of tiles that fit well in sizes of rooms to eliminate waste. Making sure trades before do a quality job to make our job easier.

We normally charge on metre rates, but vary a lot depending on job. So a site visit or of drawings is the way to go.
