Mirror Me Photography Portrait And Family Photographer

My name is Melanie Flanagan and I am a Sydney based photographer. I completed my Bachelor of Photography, majoring in advertising, with Griffith University at the Queensland College of Arts. During my degree I participated in a 12 month Griffith Student Exchange Program to the United States, which helped to broaden my perspective and build on my understanding of photography. I received the Allchromes Award for producing 'the most creative folio' of my graduating year and a Griffith Award for Academic Excellence which placed me in the top 5% of students. I recently joined the Brisbane Camera Group and my image was chosen as their Champion Image for March 2014. I was placed in the top three of the 2009 National Youth Week Photographic Competition, and my entry for the 2013 Sanpellegrino Café Society photography competition was displayed at the Gallery of Modern Art in Queensland. I am affiliated with the Golden Key International Honor Society which recognises the top 15% of students in participating Universities, the Australian Centre for Photography and the Brisbane Camera Group.
