How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
A customer can save time and money before we start the work, by having all business details available including ABN and receipts.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
In order to provide an accurate quote to customers, we offer a free consultation with a "health Check" of all accounting.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
Customers commonly ask what do we charge per hour? MJO Bookkeeping does not like to charge per hour as this does not give each customer a guideline of true and accurate bookwork. Our customers minds are at ease knowing we are taking care of all the accounting requirements.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
Customers should not be focused on hourly rate. To hire the correct professional, a few questions are:
- Are they a registered BAS agent?
- Do they work with an accountant?
- Can they provide references from professional associations?
- Are they part of an accounting associate eg ICB?
What do you like most about your job?
The best part of being a registered BAS agent and Bookkeeper, is the smile on our customers faces and the friendships that are built around trust and knowledge that we have our customers financial worries taken care of. Our Motto" Let us help you leave your business footprint on our economy."
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
About 6 months ago, a customer came to us with a large debt and director windup notice. Previous bookkeeper was providing customer inaccurate information. In 1 month, we were able to provide 18 months worth of bookkeeping, tax returns completed, refinance and restructure and all penalties remitted.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
Megan Sexton decided to start MJO Bookkeeping, due to lack of professionalism and understanding from bookkeepers and accountants towards small business owners and treating these business owners as a number instead of people.
