Megan Sexton decided to start MJO Bookkeeping, due to lack of professionalism and understanding from bookkeepers and accountants towards small business owners and treating these business owners as a number instead of people.

About 6 months ago, a customer came to us with a large debt and director windup notice. Previous bookkeeper was providing customer inaccurate information. In 1 month, we were able to provide 18 months worth of bookkeeping, tax returns completed, refinance and restructure and all penalties remitted.

Customers commonly ask what do we charge per hour? MJO Bookkeeping does not like to charge per hour as this does not give each customer a guideline of true and accurate bookwork. Our customers minds are at ease knowing we are taking care of all the accounting requirements.
