Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

As a registered BAS Agent I am required to have insurance.  Any data that is incorrect from my my work will be corrected at my cost.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Like a lot of people, I fell into it. My first main job was working in the accounts section of our family supermarket. Once I started my own bookkeeping business over 20 years ago, it has given me great freedom to be available for my children and at times, gives me a great work/life balance.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I have many. They generally are the messy ones that end up with a lovely neat set of books that make sense and the accountant is happy.

I get great satisfaction from seeing the sense of control that business owners can get when they have up-to-date books. Personally, I love how bookkeepers and business owners can now utilise technology to work more productively.

Firstly, are you a registered BAS Agent. After that it would how much experience have you had in the particular field that your business is in.

At the moment it Single Touch Payroll. Often it is in regards to GST and whether something is claimable. I also have a lot of software queries.

That would be based on my number of clients that I still have after many years. I still have my very first client. I very rarely lose a client.

My experience with 100's of small businesses over 20 plus years. I can give you a great job at a great cost.

I generally work with a customer for 3 months at an hourly rate and once I get to know your business, will be able to quote a package price.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I use and overseas worker where possible to keep the price down. The bookkeeping profession are using offshore staff more and more and we can’t be competitive with our pricing unless we do so.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I can give you a price once we have a chat and see what the scope is. I can give an hourly rate price varying between $55 and $75 plus GST or I can give you a price per package.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I love the area of rescue work and putting the “jigsaw back together”. I find it extremely rewarding in getting a set of books neat and tidy and also having a client that can get some peace of mind back.

Because I am conversant in many software packages I can help you find the best one for your business. I you are unhappy on your current package or it’s not the right “fit”, I can change you to another.  MYOB certified for 20 years XERO certified for 7 years I am also certified with Point of Sale software Registered BAS Agent
