Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are fully insured and licenced as tax accountants.  We are registered with the Tax Practitioners Board as a tax agent.  We hold a public practice certificate with CAANZ. If we make an error on your work, we will amend that document at no additional charge to you.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

In high school, I loved accounting.  I naturally enrolledi n the degree straight from school and started working at an accounting practice at the same time.  I have been in accounting ever since.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I have a client who finds tax very stressful.  She is a small business owner.  So we effectively micro manage her.  We maintain a Xero file for her.  Each quarter, we ring her to book an appointment.  She meets me, I explain her obligations for the quarter and get her to sign documents.  No stress.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy the challenge of helping people who really struggle with understanding tax and taking the stress out of it for them.  I also enjoy finding the best outcome for a client whether it is tax savings, long term planning or something else altogether.

1.  When can I expect phone calls and emails returned? 2.  How long will it take to do my work? 3.  Do you provide the services that I need?  In this case, you need to spell out what you need.

The most common questions for new businesses is "how to I get rid of my current accountant?"  We advise that we will write to your current accountant and advise them that we are taking over your work.  You do not have to have further contact with them.

We are local so you can put a face to the name if you like.  We have been in business for 10 years and have a loyal following of clients.  We have an excellent reputation in the industry and with our clients generally.

WE provide a friendly efficient service.  We return phone calls and emails and will assist in minimizing your tax burden as much as we are able.

We need to know about the complexity of your tax return.  If you have sold shares, how many parcels you have sold.  How many rental properties do you have? For business, the average number of transactions per month and whether there are any loans associated with the business.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

To save money, please have either a spreadsheet summarizing your income and expenses or have them in a good order.  For example a person with a rental property would ensure they have all Rates, water, body corporate, loan statements, annual agents statement and any other relevant receipts.

Our prices are overall cheaper than any city accounting business and in line with other suburban accountants.  What makes us better is our customer service.  We will return your phone call or email and it will be within 24 hours 95% of the time.

The cost depends on the service you require.  For an investor with a rental property, the price starts at about $200.  BAS preparation if you are using a simple spreadsheet or Xero software starts from $175 per quarter.
