Andrew listened to the goals I wanted to achieve and developed a unique program that catered to my needs. He is always energetic and I will continue to train with him in 2017.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
Our head trainer and owner Andrew McKee understands better than other trainers. The difference with Andrew is that he has walked in the shoes of a stressed out, unhealthy, unfit and unhappy person. He made the difficult decision to take on a personal trainer and work his butt off to become the fit, healthy, happy and successful personal trainer you see today.
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
Our head trainer Andrew McKee is full qualified and experienced. He has his Cert 3 Gym Instructor and Cert 4 Personal Trainer qualifications. In addition to this he is also Punch Fit Boxing trainer qualified, is qualified in pre and post natal exercising and has also Nutrition and Weight loss certification.
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
Yes I am fully insured for both in studio training and out training. I am happy to guarantee the work I do provided the client is fully committed and follow the program and advice I give 100%
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
After spending 20+ years in a corporate job, I found myself lacking direction and purpose until it was suggested to me that given the journey I had just been on in losing all the weight that I would make an excellent personal trainer. Years later I have NEVER looked back.
What do you like most about your job?
The thing I love about my job the most is watching people transform their lives right before me. I love it when I sign up a new client and they tell me they are not doing certain exercises - within no time at all they are doing those exact exercises plus a whole bunch more.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
A client should first check the PT qualifications, registration with Fitness Australia, whether the PT is fully insured and what experience the trainer has in achieving results for their clients.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
The question I get asked all the time is can you help me lose weight and get fit. My answer is always the same. Will you do everything I ask of you in our training sessions and when your not with me? If they answer yes then I answer yes.
How do you normally charge for your service?
I accept payment through cash, bank deposit and credit card. I can bill a client by the session, in bulk packs or by the month. It really depends on what the client wants.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
I specialise in understanding my client and helping them over come the obstacles that have gotten them to this point in their life. It is easy to shout exercises to clients but its another thing entirely to get a client to do things that are outside their comfort zone. Without having the trust from your client you will never get them the results they want.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
What is the customer wanting to achieve? What is their budget? How many times a week are they looking to train? Do they want to train in person or online?
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
Having been through my own fitness journey loosing 50kg from 146kg to 96kg our head trainer is more qualified than most in understanding what you're about to face and has first hand experience in getting fit and healthy
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
Start moving now - go out for a walk to get moving. It will help when you begin training
Begin to cut down on junk food - stop eating processed sugary foods now. Do it gradually and you won't even notice it
Check out several trainers - make sure they are qualified, registered and insured and above all make sure you can build a relationship with them.
What makes your pricing competitive?
Our pricing is competitive as there are discounts available based on the level of committement you want to make. The more sessions you buy the better the saving.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
Had a client who came to me in March '14 who was getting married in Oct'14. Had weight to lose but didn't think she would reach her goal weight. Was convinced she would lose some weight but not 20kg. Not only did she reach her goal but she smashed it and has continued training now and has new goals in place.
