Filming your wedding is only part of the formula, after filming I spend days editing up a beautiful, romantic and heart warming wedding film for you. I have over 10 years experience in the film industry working on movies like The Great Gatsby, The Knowing, Australia and Sucker Punch to name just a few. My imdb profile is here: http://www.imdb.com My background was in computer graphics for film and television but my passion has always been in story telling and film making as a whole, which includes script writing and directing. I love doing these wedding videos as it lets me practice my craft while meeting great people, at one of the greatest times in their lives! I've found it a much more rewarding experience in doing wedding cinematography and editing than it was working on big budget movies. Those were good experiences too, but I was part of a larger machine, with not much creative input in to the final product. Now what I can do alone, (or with a small team) directly affects peoples lives in a positive way by consistently delivering way more than they ever expected and bringing tears of joy to my couples faces. That's why I'm in this business. To get that result from people once they watch their wedding film. It's hard to talk about yourself this way without sounding overly confident but after seeing other videos out there, I would be really concerned if it was my wedding and it wasn't me (or one of the people I mentor) doing the edit. That does sound funny but it's true. I do get frustrated when I see poorly thought out edits, or with no care for the couple. Just pumping out templated or detached peices. I prefer to film in a candid and natural way. But I do also want the couple to look and sound as good as possible. So if there are unflattering shots I tend not to use those in the edit. I truncate and highlight speeches to make them sound clear and concise. I also have some tricks in both filming and in post to beautify my subject. But I won't give away my secrets on here. "
