  If you like to spend lots of money to do your tax then look no further. Used this place last year for my tax return at a charge of $275.00! To put some perspective on that I used ITP Loganholme this time for my tax affairs and it only cost $127.00. Plant and Associates charged an additional $100 because of my employee shares that I have. At the time I felt the charge to be unjust as I have never been charged for that in ANY previous years doing my tax returns. Mentioned this at ITP and they said well that's expensive for what only takes 30 seconds to add in which they did not charge any extra fees for. Do your research and shop around. Plant and Associates if you'd like to refund the $100 you charged for doing basically nothing I'd be inclined to leave a more positive review. No I did not enquire about an investment schedule ✌️

  Hi Nicholas While some firms use the cookie cutter “one size fits all” approach we try our best to provide an individualised and personal service for each client. All of our accountants are qualified, licensed, appropriately trained and up to date with current taxation laws and legislation. None of the work we receive is outsourced to overseas, we complete everything right here in our Beenleigh and Nerang offices. This ensures all appropriate deductions are claimed within the law, minimising risk of audits and fines for taking undue care in preparing your return. There is a lot of work that goes into your return beyond what you see and our fees are justified by the additional time, care, knowledge and experience it takes to prepare additional schedules that are outside the scope of a standard wages and deductions tax return. Information might be available for download from the ATO directly into your return but there have been instances where this information has been incorrect or not available at the time of completing returns. Our accountants take additional time and care to ensure that everything reported to the Tax Office is in line with the information you provide us and vice versa. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your feedback. I apologise if you feel that our fee charged was expensive.   Chris was able to assess and finalise a very complicated & sensitive SMSF matter with the ATO. With Chris's expertise in these matters we were able to resolve the matter without any fuss.   Yes we are fully insured under the professional indemnity insurance. We guarantee that if a client provides all of their information to us then their work will be completed no longer than a week. 90% of the time it is completed within 2-3 days. If a client is missing information and we request further information this may delay processing.
