I have always been interested in numbers and figures since I was in school. It was this passion that led me to become a bookkeeper.

My favourite customer stories always involve me hearing positive feedback from my clients. One of my clients (Family Business) recently told me that she was so grateful that I was working on her books. Previously their accountant was always asking questions they could not answer and there were always missing receipts, they now follow the Shoebox system and there accountant does not require any additional information other than the quarterly BAS. Their End of Year Tax return is completed on time and the accountant's yearly service fee has been reduced significantly.

What do you like most about your job?

I love helping my clients keep their bookkeeping up to date and their BAS's lodged on time. Knowing your figures are important in helping you grow and take control of your business. I am a strong believer that keeping a company's bookkeeping up to date can alleviate a lot of unnecessary stress.

Customers like to know how they get their paperwork to me. I'm fairly flexible as I am a fully mobile bookkeeper, so I collect my clients' paperwork either monthly or quarterly at a time that suits them.

1. I can do an overview of their expenses that they have currently been claiming and making sure that they have been claiming everything that they are entitled to. 2. Make sure that their business structure has been setup correctly. 3. Check that all ATO lodgements have been lodged.

I have been a bookkeeper for over 10 years now.  I am a registered BAS agent and Xero Certified. Other software I have used are MYOB, QuickBooks Online, Cash flow manager and Reckon accounts.
