I am insured for my design work, but the guarantees will be provided by the builders and manufacturers during construction.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Design and art has always been part of my life and engineering fascinated me considerably. I've created various objects from a very young age and did not find anything else this exiting.

A customer came to me with sketches that includes an extension with a cellar. I designed the extension and it got approved by council in a 9 days. The extension and cellar got constructed and the end result was above and beyond expectation.

I've studied architecture and project management and have University degrees in both, then registered in both the UK and RSA as an architect. Worked on multiple projects over 18 years.
