How do you normally charge for your service?
As a licensed builder I provide comprehensive site assessment.
I then provide a comprehensive quotation that will contain all materials & labour costs, QBCC insurance as required, Builders profit margin and GST components.

Standard industry trade labour rates
All major material items are researched & itemised with realistic $PC values.
Other major construction are researched & itemised with realistic $PS values.
These can/will allow for quotations be adjusted relevant to your selections

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
Have any necessary approved site plans, drawings at hand.
Have any necessary council/other approvals at hand.
Research any particular material items, supplier and costing values and have these at hand.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
A reasonably accurate definition of the scope of works required. Always handy if a site sketch/plan is available so that service providers can price apples for apples on the required works.
A list of materials and suppliers that the customer requires.
Approximate budget expectations.
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
Yes we are an insured business.
We also our jobs with QBCC Builders insurance unless otherwise.
All our works are guaranteed to meet QBCC and Australian Standards.
As a QBCC licensed builder, all our work carries the mandatory QBCC warranty.

What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy a content customer, one happy with all completed repairs/works that is more that happy to give word of mouth recommendations of myself and my trades.

(A) That will be dependant upon your requirement. I will measure it up, get prices from relative trades & suppliers. I will put the quote together and email it to you for your consideration.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I have been working for other insurance builders for the last 5 years app. Recently I had to resign from working for others due to a medical condition and the need for an medical operation.
I just decided that I would prefer to work for myself again, rather than put up with the demands of others
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
I have many stories of happy and appreciate customers.
