Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

We guarantee a repair, or you pay nothing. Some conditions apply such as badly damaged hardware, old age etc. But normally we won't accept a job we believe we cannot fix. We will recommend an upgrade if your computer is not worth repairing.

I have been in small business for over 8 years. Customer satisfaction is paramount! We believe your referrals are our best advertising.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

I love computers. I get great pleasure in seeing people fully utilise all their computer and internet has to offer. I am particularly concerned that senior citizens get a fair deal and not ripped off. (no fix, no fee)

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

1) model name and brand of your computer 2) how long it has been malfunctioning or just recent? 3) did you buy it new or second hand, how old? 4) is your internet working well or very slow? None of these are essential but they can save us time.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

You can help us save you money by: - dropping off the computer rather than doing the repair at your place. - perform a back up of your data before, if possible - make sure you remember to supply us the little things we need like your "log on" password, power adapter for laptop etc

What makes your pricing competitive?

Accepted Answer

Do a Google and find most technicians are above $80 per hour, $99 call outs. We are: $50 call out and initial check, $50 per hour to repair, plus parts. Or agreed fixed price. You can save money by bringing to our workshop (contact us first).  At the workshop we will give a free 10 minute assessment, before repair. Because typically fixing problems involves running tests, cleaning viruses or broken software etc and we can multitask on other tasks, charging you less total repair.

We can deal with a wide range of issues. I also have contractors working for me with extensive experience in hardware, networking and small business computer needs.

A number of years contracting in various commercial Data Centres. As well as countless hours of learning solutions to common computer problems.
