I certainly am an insured business - you'd be crazy not to be!! And I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with what I deliver. Can't guarantee anything after that though :(

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I fell into it by accident really - another piece of karma at work. I am so glad I did and am only sorry I didn't start years ago. But as my kids reminded me, at least you got into when you did, and can make so many people happy!!

The word count is too short for me to able to aptly describe my most favourite story. It's tragic, but happy, and I would not want to demean it by abbreviating it :( Ask me when I see you next :)

What do you like most about your job?

I love every single thing about my job! Even having interviews with couples who DON'T choose me as their celebrant LOL. I love people, I love weddings and romance, and I love a chat about both!!!

Price!!! Depends on what you are after. What if you're ill and can't do our wedding? Well, don't want to put the mockers on myself but I'm pretty healthy & robust & besides I have a network of celebrants and we back each other up always. you'd never be left in the lurch! Do you have a good PA? Yes!

You can only decide this after meeting me. I won't be everyone's cup of tea - that's what makes this whole job so worthwhile - you end up with the people you are meant to end up with. But I'm pretty darn good at what I do and all my clients love me - what more can I say LOL

Your celebrant is a very personal choice - hire me if I'm a good fit for you both! You have to like and trust your celebrant like no other service provider :)

How big the wedding will be - # of guests. Legals only or fully personalised. Private home or reception venue.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Have NOIM already CORRECTLY filled out & signed & witnessed by an appropriate authority & sent/delivered to me at least 1 month before the wedding. 2. Choose a venue that already provides a PA system and will also play the music for them. 3. Have a rehearsal close to my home.

I will always listen to a couple's circumstances and modify my fee for those in a genuinely difficult position. I am a strong believer in "paying it forward". I am also happy to modify my fee for morning and/or weekday ceremonies, as well as winter weddings.

Celebrant pricing should not be competitive - it should be relevant to the standard of service you require. Someone very wise once said to me, "I work up to a standard, not down to a price." That's me ...

How do you normally charge for your service?

My regular fee is $850, but I have a range of fees to suit couples who do not want - or need - all the bells and whistles. For example, I do a "legals only" ceremony - at my house - for $550!!

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in fun, relaxed, light-hearted ceremonies. I believe that the celebration should begin with the ceremony - not wait until the reception!!

I've been an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant for 6 years, and in that time I've done over 230 weddings. My reviews & testimonials speak for themselves - my couples know that they get well and truly above and beyond what they expected. I adore my job and would do it for 0 if I could afford it :)
