  Cabled Up Pty Ltd is, as every business should be nowadays, fully insured (up to $10m Public Liability). We guarantee our workmanship, and make sure that the customer (and builder, where relevant) checks everything with us before we leave the job, so all parties have an understanding of what has been done, and that everything is working as expected.

• What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

  Ask your service person, "What is your Open Registration number?" if you need data cabling or phone-line work done, as it MUST be carried out by a registered, licenced technician (under Federal Law). Most Electricians will tell you they can do it, some even mention they have an 'Austel Licence' (which no longer exists, for over 10 years now). Don't trust just any Cabling Cowboy to play around with your comms cabling!
