1. Compiling all relevant documentation that may assist your solicitor such as financial documents, marriage certificate, employment records etc. 2. Providing to your solicitor the details of the parties (including children), such as full names, dates of birth, occupation and contact details. 3. Considering what outcome/s you would ideally achieve by the end of the process and your goals. Providing this information to your solicitor will save time and money as they will have a clear idea of what you need from them at the outset.

We are offering a reduced rate initial consultation, which is currently a fixed fee of $275 including GST. Initial consultations usually last for around one hour however if your matter is particularly complex and the consult lasts longer, you can be assured that you will not be charged any extra.

We offer a reduced rate initial consultation during which we can discuss payment options and a quote for the work required on your matter. If legal costs are a concern for you, we are always willing to do everything we can to minimise fees where possible.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Our initial consultations are charged at a fixed fee of $275 including GST. During the consultation, your solicitor will discuss with you the work required on your matter to reach your desired outcome and will provide an estimate of fees to reach that point. We practice time-billing and fixed fees, depending on the matter, to provide the most cost effective option for our clients.

We are a specialist family law firm in Brisbane. We are highly experienced in the areas of property settlements, parenting arrangements, child support matters and financial agreements.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Aishwarya Singh, Director, places a real emphasis on alternative dispute resolution processes (negotiation, mediation and collaborative law) and tailoring them to suit the dynamic of any particular matter. Her skill is in managing matters to optimise the chances of an out of court resolution, however she confidently differentiates between matters that are better settled out of court and matters where court involvement is the only and/or best approach.  Whilst Aishwarya is able to assist parties in relation to all facets of a separation i.e. property settlements, children’s matters , child support and spousal maintenance etc., she has a particular interest in children's matters and in assisting parties at arriving at workable arrangements for the long term.  Aishwarya is ably assisted by Mr Gavin Lai, Senior Managing Solicitor, Mrs Penelope Stevens, an Accredited Family Law Specialist and Ms Paula Vallance.
