Both Harvest Bookkeeping Services and the Tax Accountants who assist with tax lodgement are fully insured. Work will only commence once you have given your consent for it to proceed.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Having had some experience as Treasurer for local schools and clubs and having had some experience using computers, I decided to study at TAFE and get an Advanced Diploma of Accounting. I found that there are many business owners who enjoy having someone to help the to get their bookkeeping and tax accounting completed by people who care about them.

One question we are often asked by customers is, "how do we claim to offer lower prices than our competitors?" The answer is that we can do this because we are not charging any fees that are over and above what it costs to do the job.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I need to know what type of entity you require accounting services for. For example, individual, sole-trader trust, partnership, or company. If you only require bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting software support, I will either quote for the job base on the hours required, or I will quote an hourly rate starting from $25 per hour. All tax-accounting work will be quoted once the number of documents to be submitted and the type of job has been determined. We can issue an estimate of the price of the accounting job you require also.

All taxation based jobs are charged on a per-job basis and as a client, you will be informed of the fees to be paid when documents have been uploaded and are pending lodgement. I am an Advanced Diploma qualified Bookkeeper with over five years industry experience as a bookkeeper. I am responsible for the bookkeeping requirements of businesses and companies in the Granite Belt Southern Queensland area as well as mobile bookkeeping and  tax accounting services for business owner throughout Australia. I have experience preparing Tax Returns both for individuals and and corporations, as I have a training certificate and seasonal experience working for ITP. I am also a Registered BAS Agent and can lodge you BAS and Activity Statements using the ATO BAS Agent Portal.
