I offer a money back guarantee. If you are not happy with the final product, I'll do everything I can to fix it. If I fail to please you after doing my best, there will be no charge. However, neither will there be a live website.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I decided to get into this line of work out of necessity. I wanted a website for myself as a counsellor. This was when the Internet was fairly new and I believe I was the only counsellor in Australia offering online sessions. An outlay at that time of several thousand dollars produced a dismal result. So I thought I could do better myself if I only knew how to do it. I dedicated myself to learning html and more and have been doing it for my own sites and other small business owners for 20 years. I love the work and it provides a much needed balance to working in the therapy field.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

All my customers are favourites and they are all different so it is difficult to identify one as a favourite. One challenge a  client faced was to decide on a colour scheme. After working together with many combinations, we finally arrived at what gave the client the "Yes!". That was very satisfying to us both.

What I like most about this work is knowing that I have satisfied a client's needs for a website that meets the criteria for the outcome the client wants to achieve. I am wanting a win/win for the client in meeting their need which gives me a feel good experience.

The questions asked depend on the customer's values. What is most important? Is it price? Is it accessibility to a real person with real answers who is local in same time zone? Is it a particular coding required? Is it about eCommerce? The list goes on. Know what you want and ask if it can be provided by the professional you are considering engaging.

The question I most often hear is about cost. My answer is whatever you have to spend. The cost of a website can be limited to a budget or expand on a continuum with updated content, blog posts and social media. A website these days needs to be a dynamic and expanding project that reflects who you are and what you offer your customers or clients. You can start small and continue adding content as your budget permits and what you are offering changes to meet changing needs.

Are you going to accept me saying that I am the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job? Maybe not. You need proof. I can tell you how committed I am and how trustworthy I am, but to me that reeks of a shonky salesperson. How about you test me out and decide for yourself? Do I return your calls? Am I readily available for your project? Do I do what I say I am going to do? I'll let you be the judge.

I need to know the purpose of your website. What are you hoping to achieve by having one? What sort of content are you providing? Do you have a restricted budget and if so what are your priorities? About how many menu items or pages are you proposing to have in your site?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

You can save money by having your colour scheme clear in your mind, your business logo all done and a collection of images you would like to included on your site. You may also have already written the copy for each page and identified the pages you would like included in your menu. Otherwise, I can do all that for you!!

I offer an initial consultation free of charge. The aim is to asses if there is a fit between the client and me. Through discussing the client's need we can both discover if we will work together well and produce the desired outcome. The initial consultation can take place in your office or mine or over Skype if distance is a factor. I will travel up to 50K from Sydney CBD.

What makes your pricing competitive?

My pricing is competitive in the value added services I offer. As I develop the site, I make sure all coding is in keeping with best search engine optimization through Meta tags and alt tags, links as well as checking for keyword density in the content to ensure the site is well placed in Search. I also follow up on all my work to make sure the client is happy. If a client has any issues at all, it it attended to immediately. Having a happy client is my priority.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I offer three fee choices or packages to suit a variety of needs. I offer an hourly rate, a light package and a full package depending on the needs of my clients. The client chooses how they wish to pay. Payment can be made by credit card, PayPal or direct bank deposit.

Since the advent of Mobilegeddon, I have specialized in responsive design and coding as this is what Google now wants. Like it or not, Google matters when it comes to search engine supremacy. Any site now that is not optimized for mobile viewing loses search engine ranking. Google has made it clear that they favour one URL that displays well on any device.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have had twenty years experience in designing websites for small business. I started out as a counsellor and psychotherapist and found it frustrating when I needed a website, that other designers failed to deliver what I wanted. So I set out to learn how to design myself and have been providing websites for other therapists and small business owners. I have persistence and commitment to providing what my clients want. If my clients are happy, then so am I and it is a very worthwhile experience for everyone.
