  Had an issue with hot water for our kitchen tap. Took around 50 mins to diagnose and change it (non-urgent job). Quoted a lump sum of $856.90 (incl. 5yrs warranty) and was told $1007.60 was the pre-COVID price. Got a $50 discount for booking over the phone, but had to remind plumber to receive the discount. Called afterwards to ask about the price and received a partial refund (ended up paying $495). They were extremely reluctant to provide a revised itemised quote and mentioned they didn’t have time to deal with us. The owner kindly called us to resolve the issue in the end.
