What do you like most about your job?

I love making people look fabulous! Whether its makeup for a beautiful bride, painting on a pregnant belly or face painting on an excited child - I want them to LOOK and FEEL FABULOUS! I LOVE my job!

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Rachael is meticulous in her attention to detail and will provide face painting with beautiful bold base colours and crisp, clean line work. If time does not permit for full detailed designs, then less detail is added, but the standard and finish of her work is never compromised.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I require the following information to quote on the event or job: Type of event; Service required (face painting, belly art, henna art, diva party, UV glow party, makeup, glitter tattoos); Date; Time; Hours required; Location; Expected number of guests; Parking provided; Inside or outside; How many artists do you need; Are you providing cover or do you need a marquee provided

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

If the booking is a result of direct contact through OneFlare, then the customer is entitled to a 5% discount on a 2+ hour booking. This can be discussed with Rachael at the time of the booking enquiry.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Accepted Answer

The pricing is fair and on level with any advanced face and body artist in Melbourne. A discount may be given if the event is longer than 4 hours. This can be discussed with Rachael at the time of the booking enquiry.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Payment of a deposit is required to hold the date requested. Cleared balance of the payment is due on or before the day of the event.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Rachael's skill level comes from 25 years in a creative art background. As well as studying a BA in Fashion, she has worked 6 years for Myer in cosmetics, completed numerous makeup and face painting courses and workshops, attends the annual ABAA convention and challenges herself by competing in regular Melbourne Body Art Xpo competitions.
