What's a CMS?  CMS stands for content management system, they allow you to edit, add and delete pages and content via an easy to use to editor with no coding skills.  How do I send you content?  Written content should be stored in a MS word doc, Open Office or text file (last resort). Images should be sent at their maximum quality and lossless file types, preferably png, svg, jpg. if you have original files like (.PSDS) incldue those as well.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Some customers know exactly what they want when they come to us, other's have no idea.  For instance the concept of "how many pages" is even becoming irrelevant, as single page websites are becoming a popular trend for example. Therefore we need information to determine the best method of serving your content and business objectives. Add on things like e-commerce, dynamic features, content management systems and we start to get a sense of how much work is involved.  In the initial stages, we'll determine how content will shape the sites structure and objectives. If you have existing branding or logos, you can provide them to speed things up. If you have content, you can give us send us what you have, as well as any description of how expansive the site might be.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Prepare content for us to speed things up. Eg Photos, bios, business details etc.  Write some page content (front page, about etc). We'll provide a more detailed list of recommendations if you contact us.

We are a small experienced team using the latest techniques to create efficient clean websites. We charge much less than an agency as our overheads are low.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We charge hourly ($35) for small tasks, updates, fixes etc.  For website packages we can quote a set price once we've received some information from you.  Payment via direct deposit is preferred.

We specialize in small-medium business/personal websites. We can create customized database driven websites to manage your data. We can help you set up e-commerce for small (1-500 item) stores as well.
