How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I (Darela) have many years of experience working for a different companies .When I became mum of one,then two ,then 3 kids it was very hard to keep working away from home so I started working for myself . Then I introduced this idea to my sister and then my daughter as business was getting bigger.

Are they registered BAS Agent ? As if they are not then there is a limit what they can do .In that case business owner needs to take BAS and all GST related paperwork to the Tax Accountant and that is usually much more expensive.How much experience they have and of course references to prove it

How many hours it would take to do the job ?  How much it would cost ? We send them aprox quote but we always like to see them and talk to them before final agreement is made

How are they doing there bookkeeping at the moment? XERO ? MYOB? How many employees ? How many invoices per week? How many bills per week ? Are they registered for GST ? When was the last bank reconciliation done ?

Prepare all your paperwork ,financial records and receipts . Have them in date order or in alphabetical order so that it takes us less time to go thru them . Prepare Excel sheet with different columns for date, details, amount.It would help a lot as we can then import them in XERO all MYOB and save $

As we are working from our home office or client office /home we are able to pass our savings to our clients . So our clients get experienced bookkeeper at very reasonable price.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We are charging $35-$50 per hour depending on which type of work we are doing and we also have a monthly package.BAS Lodgment is $90 .IAS is $40.

We work from home or at clients office/home.We are very skilled in using XERO and MYOB.I (as owner ) am registered BAS AGENT and I have Advance Diploma in Accounting .
