Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have $10 Million public liability insurance. All digital images and regular prints purchased come with a money back guarantee.  For other special orders such as photobooks, picture framing and canvas printing, there are no guarantees, however we will pass on the same terms and conditions of the third party company supplying the service. Please advise if you need these details before placing an order.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always enjoyed art and being creative. Photography has always been an in-bred passion passed down from my father and is a common interest with my husband. An opportunity arose about a year ago to formalize this passion in a new business venture. It has been an amazing first year. Every day is another adventure!

When shooting my first wedding I was pre-warned by a photographer friend that the Council Rangers regularly patrol Sydney's foreshore for event photographers. Sure enough, as the bride was behind a tree slipping into her wedding dress a ranger appeared out of nowhere with notepad in hand. It all ended in smiles when I produced a parks permit. Moral of the story... Make sure your photographer does the paperwork beforehand to avoid ruining your day!

I love meeting new people and sharing in their happy experiences. What delights me the most is when I experience the true personality of a child and preserve a moment in time in a beautiful image that will last forever.

Michelle from Adoria Photography takes time to bond with the people she is photographing. As a mother of small children and a former playgroup coordinator, she has a rapport with Kids quickly putting them at ease and making the photo session fun. Every photo session is a work of art with attention to style and detail both during the photo shoot and afterwards during post processing. Michelle will also use pro level Canon Camera and L-Series lenses to ensure the results are spectacular. All printing is done at a Pro-Lab.

Date and approximate time of the photo shoot, Proposed location, the type of event, approximate duration (we charge per hour or part thereof), number of people to be photographed, other special requirements or preferences, intended usage of the images (e.g. Prints for the house, high resolution images for publishing, advertising etc, Web quality images for social media ).

Our specials are geared towards customers located in or having events in the Sydney Hills district. Prepare for the photo shoot ahead of time to ensure all photographs can be taken within the hour(s) planned. Ahead of time, ensure the location is presentable, hair and makeup are done and clothing changes are prepared. If you have a plan for the types of shots you require discuss the details with us at least a week beforehand. Some locations may require permits and approvals so allow a few weeks lead time for that if required.

Our low cost packages include a one hour sitting at a mutually agreed location or in our studio at Beaumont Hills NSW and generous credit towards digital image or print purchases.

Most customer prefer to buy a set package that normally include a minimum of a one hour photo shoot, upload of proofs to an online gallery and a generous credit towards the purchase of images and/or prints. As I shoot with a professional full frame Canon SLR and L series lenses, I ensure any printing is done by a pro-lab to guarantee the best results. Payments can be made via Paypal, Bank Transfer, Cheque or Cash.

Michelle initially worked for over five years in a multi-national company in a graphic design and publishing role. During this time she has developed a keen sense of artistic design, composition and attention for detail, Photography has always been a passion and a creative outlet. With a young family of her own, she worked part time assisting a professional photographer for several years. During this time she has worked with many preschools, families and brides, both assisting in the shoots and post processing the photographs. She has also established and coordinated two playgroups and lead in Children's ministry at her local church, all of which have proved valuable in developing rapport and relationships with people of all ages.
