How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I went along to my brothers wedding in KohSamui Thailand and there was already a professional photographer there.  I had a basic camera at the time.  I started taking quite a few photos.  In the end, my photos were decided better than the actual professional at the time.  I just loved it.

What do you like most about your job?

I like having fun with the couple or individual.  By having fun it allows me to explore my talent of bringing out the best in people and giving them a photo that they will absolutely love.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

You should ask the amount of experience in this particular area of photography.  For example, a photographer might mention they have photographed for 10 years.  The questions could be, "how many weddings have you photographed?'  If the answer is say, 20 weddings, as opposed to, say, 300.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Accepted Answer

I have over a decade in the photography industry.  I have photographed over 300 weddings.  I know how to bring out the best in people in a photograph.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I need to know the amount of coverage needed and your maximum budget that you are willing to spend.  It is also great to know the best time to contact you to talk about your photography requirements.

What makes your pricing competitive?

My pricing is competitive if I am available in the short term.  By booking me in the short term I can offer a lower rate in booked in advance.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I usually give a price with all expenses included in the cost.  If there is additional costs such as prints or an album then this will be mentioned upfront in the quote.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in wedding photography but I photograph all events from engagement shoots,  maternity photos, birthdays, family  and individual portraits.

Experience of over 10 years in the industry.  I have been trained by the worlds best photographers in camera lighting and technique.
