Welcome to Amie Forbes Photography and thank you for considering me as your photographer. I’m an Australian photographer that calls South-East Queensland home. I specialize in Wedding photography and lifestyle portraits, including maternity, engagement, newborn, birth and family shoots. When I first began my career, I set out to do one thing above all else - to tell my clients stories through the most organic form of communication. Creating reference points throughout their lives for their future generations to come. With both my grandmother and father as artists, my passion for "all things artistic", began a long time ago. As a child I was treated to lessons in drawing and painting. What my family taught me was a keen eye for detail and an appreciation of composition and light - two key elements of photography! I spend a lot of time focusing in on the detail, the right emotion, the right pose, the right light and the right props. I believe a portrait shows a person their true self, capturing them and the people they love, their partners and children. One day these portraits will be priceless, there’s no money in the world that will take their family back to that moment. I’m stopping time for my client’s families and their future generations. It will be the most valuable thing that their family will own, and when they are not here their children will look at their family portraits and say this is my mother, this was my grandfather and this is the legacy of what I am.   • What makes your pricing competitive?

    My packages include high resolution digital images provided via an online gallery where you can directly download them. There are no restrictions with the use of your images, I welcome clients to print where ever they like and post on Facebook. However I can assist with printing to ensure image qual

  • How do you normally charge for your service?

    Full payment is required upon booking to secure your booking date. An invoice will be sent to you via email. I have two packages available, $350 for a 1 hour session including 20 digital images or $500 for a 2 hour session including 40+ digital images.
