What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
We've been in business now since 1989, with many years of experience in repairing and servicing all types of computer systems. Everything from virus removal, fixing internet issues and replacing damaged components.
We've completed over 7500 repairs during this time and have many loyal customers.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
We cater for the home user and small business. That way we can provide the best possible one-on-one service. In regards to servicing and repairs we mainly deal with Windows based and Apple products.
How do you normally charge for your service?
We give a fairly accurate quote to begin with and don't ask for payment until the job has been completed. We generally have a fixed cost for most repairs but may vary due to unforseen circumstances.
What makes your pricing competitive?
Because our pricing generally fixed it means you wont be hit by nasty astronomical charges. Our cost is fair based on the technical complexity and time taken to perform those repairs. Our expert technicians are able to diagnose and repair most problems.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
I always advise customers that if they are not confident in what they are doing, please don't attempt to repair it themselves. They often make the problem worse! I recommend they take it to a professional to get it done right the first time.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
A detailed description of the problem. Not just "figuring out the problem" as I see on many job requests. I generally don't answer or quote on these requests. Also any information on what you have already tried to do to rectify the problem and what you were doing at the time the problem occurred.
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
Yes, we provide a 60 day warranty on most hardware and physical type repairs and 12 months warranty on new components.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
As the owner of the business I have my reputation at stake so I wont do anything to jepardise or tarnish that. I am well known for my honesty, fair pricing and good service. I am not some cowboy who takes short cuts when it comes to service and products. Everything we do is quality and above board.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
I do get asked a lot how long I've been and business and how do you do it. Simple. Good honest work and advise. I don't tell customers rubbish and always do my best to solve their problems and provide them with the products they need.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
Ask up front how much its going to cost and if they actually know what they are doing. How long have they been in business? Can they back up their claims with testimonials? etc etc
What do you like most about your job?
I like interacting with customers and seeing a smile on their faces knowing that they've made the right choice in doing business with us. It's not just a business, it's my hobby and passion (or obsession!). I'm excited what new technologic innovation will come next.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I've always been interested in technology, and have grown up with computers and electronics. I love my gaming and geeky hardware and gadgets, so what better job to be in!
