Assorted Spaces has been making homes and businesses beautiful for 2.5 years. Taryn Whitaker, the sole designer was in the business of presenting products for sale for over 17 years with a background in marketing & visual merchandising for retail. It all started after completing an Advanced Diploma of Arts for Fashion (Marketing and Merchandising) some years ago. Following this, Taryn held positions heading up Visual Merchandising for Queensland for retailers including Witchery, Sussan Corporation, City Beach and Myer. Following this was Head Office positions for international brands Foot Locker and Billabong. Prior to setting up Assorted Spaces Taryn studied Interior Design & Decoration and Colour Psychology through Beaumont School of Interior Design, and later, Professional Organiser Training through Heavenly Order. Taryn services clients from Brisbane to the Gold Coast and specialises in retail concepts and designs, minor renovations, colour consulting, visual merchandising for retail and property styling.
