Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Courier: My guarantee is delivered in full and on time in same condition it was given to me. PC: If it is a new system I've built for you, then yes I guarantee my work, however damage sustained (i.e. power surges) or inadequate software protection (virus protection) aren't covered.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I've been through the corporate world. Great deal of pressure, where it really isn't needed. With this line of work, I back the van in the driveway, park, turn the key off, hop out and lock the van. My stress for the day is finished. I get to enjoy being with my family, without being a stress head.

A cake decorating small business needed IT solutions that wasn't expensive. I built the PC and the software to run her business at a fraction of the price of retailers that quoted her. Knowing that I do courier work and bar work, I've been utilised for those services also.

I like meeting people, helping them meet their expectations. Providing simple service. No need to complicate things. I love getting repeat business or referrals for business.

How soon will the package be delivered? I go by GPS advice as it has reasonably up to date traffic information. I tend to request 15 - 30 minutes leverage for traffic.

I provide honest service to my customers. I openly communicate and thrive to deliver expected results. My goal is to secure repeat business and have customers refer me.

I provide old fashioned customer service with my clients. I like to give a little more than I promise where I can to ensure satisfaction which results in repeat business.

Courier: Location where I pick up the item and what day/time it will be ready. Drop off location. Size of item including weight. PC Repairs: Model details, Operating system, description of fault or tell me what happened just prior when the fault occurred.

Provide as much detail as possible when supplying the advert. The more we know, the more likely we can supply an accurate quote. Be honest with that detail. Mistakes happen, typically we uncover what caused the fault anyway. If applicable, meet half way if travel is required (i.e. computer repair)

As a owner operator business with minimal overheads, I can share the savings with my customers. I find it important to provide value for money for customers. I make money by repeat business and/or referrals, not by gouging customers.

Depending on the job amount will depend if a deposit is required prior. Typically I do invoices, where payments are expected within 14 days. Electronic or Cash directly after completion accepted.

PC or laptops, however I prefer not get involved with MAC or Apple. 1Tonne van for courier work ready to deliver goods.

Courier Work: Valid Victorian Drivers Licence (Full) with perfect traffic record. Van that is serviced and maintained in good working order. PC Repairs: I've been involved with the industry for well over a decade.
