My laptop was diagnosed as needing a new screen. Within 24 hours was ordered and fitted at a reasonable cost. Very happy with results. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing help with their computer

What do you like most about your job?
I like helping the helpless, the person whom wants to use technology, but know one wants to give them the time of day. This is what keeps BANJANS IT going, helping those understand their technology.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
Yes I do. I had a call a few months back, this customer was desperate as her computer all of a sudden stopped working. They called about 5 local IT businesses in the area and they seem to not be sympathetic to her situation or wanting to help them. Some even said to stop wasting our time and go buy a new computer, some were rude. The difference is this, we listened, we were polite and we offered to come to her home.
The problem wasn't all that big a deal to help her with and in the end the customer was happy, even to a point, she continues to spread our name around our local area about our service.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
As a youngster I always dabble in electronics in fixing things that were broken, the TV, a VCR etc.
I found myself starting to help my friends and then the lady in a checkout line, talking about her computer problem and me offering to help.
I find it a passion if you like to call it, helping people with there technology and giving them understanding in using it to help them better.
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
My experience has been around Mac's and PC's for the last 10 + years, technology changes all the time, so you need to keep your skills and changing trends up to date. Thanks to today's technology, we have everthing at our finger tips, with online courses and training.
Research is a big factor with our business, we are always researching, learning and training ourselves with "whats new in today's or tomorrows technology."
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
Me personally, I love Apple products. Apple products seem to have a technology that the opposition like Microsoft cant seem to grasp with their software and hardware.
Apple are always looking for ways to make things easier, faster and better. They cater not just for the young generation, they cater and help the older generation connect with the younger generation.
People love Apple and I love helping people with there Apple.
How do you normally charge for your service?
BANJANS IT is about helping people, so what we charge is about being fair in the time we spend with you at your home, office and at our shop. Our charge for service varies from one to another that being a hourly rate, a call out rate that includes the first hour and a per half hour incriments.
We offer what is available today, Cash, Credit Card, EFT.
