I hold a current public liability insurance policy and stand behind the quality of my work and do my best to provide realistic and practical solutions so owners will continue the work.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My first Rottweiler Java changed my life as I studied behaviour to learn about how to handle her.  Now I have two Rottweilers and love working with people and their dogs.

What do you like most about your job?

One of the most satisfying things is when an owner has a dog who they feel is out control starts to understand why the behaviour is happening and now has tools & skills to deal with it.  So the owners stress comes down and so does the dog's.

Ask about a person's qualifications and importantly about their experience.  An experienced trainer should be able to provide examples of issues they have dealt with and how the problem was addressed.  Question what approach they take to ensure it is in line with what you are looking for.

As a qualified trainer I am passionate about helping you to give your puppy the best start which means correct socialisation to build confidence, training your pup to be at ease on its own and aiming for a well balanced stable dog.

A brief description of the training required e.g. are there issues and what are they? Or do you have a new puppy and need help settling him/her into your home? Are you after a home visit, private lesson or group classes?

I offer a high quality service with email/phone support for a term and I will not sell you sessions you don't need.

Puppy Pre School costs $90-00 for my 4 week program.    Charges vary for in home training consultations and private lessons.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Puppy Pre School and Puppy Development, Obedience Training and addressing behavioural issues are my main focus.   As a hobby I compete with my own dogs in obedience and tracking competitions.

Qualified trainer with National Dog Trainers Federation (NDTF). The course is a comprehensive dog trainer certification course and is the only nationally accredited course in Australia.
