We love building, we love building materials and love finding ingenious ways to fi problems. Every day presents us with different challenges, but every day also ends with different solutions.

We have several customers who thought they had serious structural problems with their home, due to having cracks around the home. After having an initial assessment from us and our advice on some basic maintenance around the home, our customers have been able to reduce increasing the damage.

A Structural Engineer must be appropriately qualified, with at least a degree in Structural Engineering. A structural Engineer must be registered on the National Engineering Register and registered with the Victorian Building Authority. They also need Professional Indemnity Insurance.

A common question is: Is this a load bearing wall? There are a few basic checks you can make before paying to get us out. When you look in your roof space and there is nothing on top of the wall, may mean it is non-load bearing. Some wall can provide lateral stability to your home, so be careful.

If you would like to save some money on our work, providing us with building plans or specifications can help us not duplicating work. If you wanting a structural assessment of your building, please try and provide all the information you have from the building plans.

We price ourselves for the services you need.  If all you need is an opinion on-site for a specific issue, then why pay for a full building inspection. If need an inspection to get quotes from contractors, we will provide you with industry market rates for repairs, maintenance or building works.

An initial site inspection for an assessment of a crack in your home can range from $250 - $400. A building inspection for a small home is $395. If you are wanting a structural timber beam design the cost is $300. Call us today for a no obligation quote.
