What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Careful measurements must be taken . The quality of the finished product will largely depend on the care and precision taken to measure the area before anything else is done.  Careful attention to detail and low tolarences will help ensure a perfect fit without any unnecessary cuts and joins.  Glass installations should always be done by trained glazing professionals.  There is a marked difference between someone who knows their way around installing a kitchen and a regular glass fitter.  Make sure you are having the job done by a trained professional that will ensure all the sealing is done to high standards to avoid being disappointed later.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Clear or Starphire Glass:  We use 6mm Toughened Safety Glass.  This glass is 6 times stronger than normal float glass.  We produce Coloured Glass Splashbacks in either Clear or Starphire glass.  Regular Clear glass has a high content of iron, which gives the glass a green tint.  Only certain darker colours and some greens can be achieved painting Clear glass.  Clear glass costs less than Starphire glass.  Starphire glass is crystal clear because the green tint, which might subsequently distort your chosen image or colour, has been removed.  Using Starfire glass enables us to offer our customers glass in any colour or digital image.  Paint & Colour:  Our splashbacks are coated in supremely durable and high quality paint.  Our paint is guaruanteed for 10 years when installed by us.

Family owned and run on business.  Usually Hazel comes and quotes to customers and its commonplace for us to be entrusted with keys to install in holiday houses etc.

We offer professional advice, a mobile showroom and coloured glass samples to assist you with your decision making process.  Let us help you match colours to you kitchen or other design features.  We can match any colour, or just upload a design, image or photo and we will do the rest.

Hight and Width of each panel in mm.  Number of cutouts, for example the no. of powerpoints and/or the number of corner cut-outs. Colour or image ideas.

Make sure the kitchen is complete.  We are usually the last thing to be installed, but feel free to contact us for a quote in advance.  Rough measurements are fine.  We we conduct a detailed measure later.
